Resident Teacher

Kelsang Lhachog has been studying and practising Buddhism and meditation for many years under the guidance of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

When asked how she came to Buddhism:
“I had reached a point in my life where I felt there was something missing. Although I had a good job, money and many friends I still didn’t have the happiness that these things seemed to promise. I travelled and discovered meditation and Buddhist teachings. For me Buddhas teachings explained perfectly why I had not found the happiness I was seeking, because I was looking in the wrong place. Changing my external conditions instead of my state of mind. Finally I came home to Cumbria and discovered Geshe Kelsang’s teachings right on my doorstep in Carlisle in 1995.”
