Uma Kadampa Buddhist Centre
Uma Centre is a residential community of both ordained and lay Kadampa Buddhists striviing to put into practise Buddhas teachings in our daily life. The centre is open to the public and you are welcome to drop by anytime or come to one of our Open Days.
The aim of the centre is to offer a peaceful environment in which everyone can enjoy some quiet and develop calm and relaxed states of mind. Whether you are interested simply in meditation, Buddhist beliefs, community living or volunteer opportunities please feel free to contact us.
As well as residents at the centre we have a wider community of practitioners who work in the centre and attend classes and prayers.
