Uma Centre is a community of dedicated Dharma practitioners, striving to deepen their understanding and experience of Buddha’s teachings. The centre offers a peaceful environment in which you can learn about Buddhism and meditation.
We are based on the edge of the City of Carlisle and the Lake District and close to the border of Scotland. The centre is a detached 1850’s house in its own grounds. We are a residential centre with 7 bedrooms, off street parking and beautiful gardens.
